These are apps to explore, not an automatic download. Availability varies by tablet and region. Parents review and approve each app. Publisher accounts, subscriptions and paid content are separate from YidPad; AlephPlay requires a subscription after its trial.

AN EXTRA OPTION. ALWAYS A PARENT’S CHOICE.
Our app collection is a good place to start. For an occasional need beyond it, PIN-protected Parent Mode lets you install compatible apps directly from Google Play on supported tablets.
This is an option for you to use thoughtfully. Google Play is available only through Parent Mode, away from the family’s everyday screen. You review the app, decide whether to install it, and separately choose whether your family may open it.
Explore app questionsGoogle Play access stays in the parent controls.
Review its content, links, ads, and purchases before installing.
Return to Choose apps to allow access, then start Child Mode.
Browser apps such as Chrome remain blocked in Child Mode. Adding an app does not make Google Play available in Child Mode.
More choice also means a parent’s review. Google Play apps are not automatically reviewed or approved by YidPad. Blocking browser apps does not filter every page, video, or web feature inside another app. Choose carefully and review each app’s content and settings. Some apps may be incompatible or restricted; accounts and subscriptions are separate.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
YidPad is a dedicated Android tablet experience for Jewish families. A simple Home screen brings together the apps you choose, with PIN-protected Parent Mode, app-access controls, and allowed-hours schedules. You can buy a YidPad tablet or set it up on a supported tablet you already own.
Explore Torah learning, Hebrew and early learning, davening, Jewish videos and stories, music and audio, games and activities, and everyday Jewish life. The collection includes familiar names such as YidFlicks, Toveedo, 24Six, and Naki Go. Availability depends on the tablet, region, and publisher.
Yes. We’re adding new apps every day, and more approved apps are coming to each category. Every app goes through YidPad’s review and approval process before joining our collection. You still choose which apps your family may open and review their content and settings.
No. The website shows apps to explore, and illustrated screens show example selections. A fresh YidPad setup starts with an empty Home. In Parent Mode, select the apps you want; those selections begin downloading. Installation, availability, and publisher sign-in requirements can vary.
Third-party accounts, app purchases, content, and subscriptions are separate from YidPad. Some apps offer free content; others require payment or a subscription. For example, AlephPlay requires its own subscription after its trial. Check the publisher’s terms before choosing an app.
Yes. Unlock Parent Mode with your Parent PIN, open Apps, and use Choose apps to allow or hide supported installed apps. Installing an app and allowing access are separate choices. Some included YidPad-managed apps do not have a parent-controlled access switch; ask YidPad support for help with those.
On supported tablets, open Parent Mode with your PIN, choose Apps, and select Open Google Play. Review the compatible app’s content, links, ads, purchases, and settings before installing it. Return to Choose apps and turn on Allow child access if you want it available to your family, then start Child Mode. Those are the labels currently shown on the tablet. Apps you install independently through Google Play are not automatically reviewed or approved by YidPad.
Browser apps such as Chrome remain blocked in Child Mode, and Google Play is reserved for PIN-protected Parent Mode. Allowing an app does not open Google Play to everyday use. Some apps can contain their own links, videos, or web features; YidPad’s app-access controls do not filter everything inside an approved app.
Yes, for apps with a parent-controlled access switch. In Parent Mode → Apps, turn off Allow child access to hide the app from the everyday Home while keeping it installed. To remove it completely, use Android Settings → Apps in Parent Mode. Uninstalling can erase that app’s saved data.
Your Parent PIN opens Parent Mode, where you manage apps and tablet settings. Google Play access stays within those parent controls. When you finish, tap Start Child Mode to return to the approved app library. Back to apps keeps Parent Mode open while you continue making changes.
Sign in to the Parent Portal and pair your tablet to manage supported installed-app access, allowed days and hours, camera and Safe Gallery, screenshots and recording, and Bluetooth preferences. You can also pause access, allow use, or grant one extra hour. Remote changes need a connected tablet and take effect when it confirms them. New Google Play installations still happen locally in Parent Mode.
Yes. Choose the days and hours when the tablet may be used, on the tablet or through the Parent Portal. You can pause access or grant a temporary one-hour exception. Schedules control when access is allowed; they are not a report of time already spent.
The current Parent Portal shows connection information and the latest remote command’s status, alongside supported settings and schedules. It does not currently report detailed app-by-app minutes or a history of content viewed.
Supported controls let you choose whether camera and Safe Gallery, screenshots and recording, and Bluetooth accessories are available. Safe Gallery is for viewing local photos and videos. Available features and behavior depend on the tablet and software.
Wi-Fi is needed for downloads, many streaming apps, sign-in, and remote Parent Portal changes. Some apps may work offline, depending on what the publisher supports and what is already downloaded. The tablet must reconnect before it can receive and confirm remote changes.
The advertised YidPad family plan is $19.99/month for up to three tablets. Bring a supported tablet for the first 30 days free, or buy a YidPad tablet for $199 with the first six months of YidPad free. The family-plan price applies after the included period. Activate through secure Stripe checkout. A card is required, and the plan renews automatically after the included period unless cancelled. Third-party apps and content are separate.
The current guided trial supports the onn. model 100135925 running Android 14. Check the exact model, software, and preparation requirements in the trial guide before resetting anything. Other Android tablets and software versions are not automatically supported. Registration and compatibility checks do not guarantee a successful installation.
YidPad is installed during Android’s first-run setup as the tablet’s management app. It requires a new or factory-reset supported tablet. Back up important files and follow the trial guide’s account-preparation steps before resetting; a reset erases local data. Keep access to the Google account previously used on the device. After enrollment, create your Parent PIN, choose apps, and separately pair the tablet to your Parent Portal account.
No. Trial registration saves your adult contact details, tablet information, setup progress, and help requests for setup support. Parent Portal account creation and tablet pairing are separate. Registering or buying a tablet does not automatically pair it or give access to another family’s device.
Creating a parent account or saving setup details does not start billing. You must accept the recurring plan and finish secure Stripe checkout. Your plan then renews at $19.99/month for up to three tablets, plus applicable tax, after the 30-day trial or your tablet’s included period. Cancel before renewal through Plan & billing to avoid the next charge. Card details stay with Stripe.
Choose Parent login on this website, then sign in with your email address and YidPad password or create an account. Pair your tablet to manage it. Existing parents who used the earlier login system can use the one-time existing-account setup to retain paired tablets. A forgotten account password can be recovered through the password-reset link.
Add a $199 YidPad tablet to your cart and review the full total before paying through Stripe. Shipping is currently within the USA at $12 per order, plus any applicable taxes. The purchase includes the first six months of YidPad free. Adding to your cart does not reserve stock or guarantee a delivery date.
Use the help request in the trial guide to describe your tablet, the step you reached, and what happened. YidPad staff can review your saved setup progress and follow up using the contact details you provided. Do not send passwords, Parent PINs, payment details, or pairing codes in a help message.
Removing a tablet from the Parent Portal does not uninstall YidPad. Because YidPad manages the device, ordinary uninstall and reset options may be restricted. Returning to ordinary Android use may require a manufacturer recovery factory reset, which erases local data again. Read the removal guidance for your exact model, save important files, and retain access to the Google account used on the tablet before proceeding.
